The Design Process & Fee

To begin a custom project, a nonrefundable design fee is required. This fee covers the creative planning and design process and will be applied to your final invoice.

Design Fee Calculation

15% × (per sq. ft. cost) × (square footage of the largest window in each unique design)

• The design fee is nonrefundable
• If you proceed with the custom piece, this amount is credited toward the final cost
• If you choose not to proceed, the design fee is forfeited

Payment Schedule

Once your design is approved:

• A 40% deposit of the remaining balance (after the design fee) is required to begin production
• The final balance + shipping or installation is due upon completion

Repairs & Restoration

Accidents happen—but stained glass can often be saved.

If one of your cherished pieces is damaged, let Brad take a look. With decades of experience, he’ll assess the damage and let you know if a repair is possible.

Evaluation & Estimate

• Damage assessment: Evaluation and estimate will be provided upon request prior to repair work commencing.
• $65 deposit upon drop off (applied toward the final repair cost) **Price subject to change.
• Estimates will be given based on visual inspection of item needing repair. A more precise estimate can be given if the item is brought to store. However, photos of the item will aid in estimation.

Repair Rates

• In-studio repairs: $65/hour + cost of materials **Price subject to change.
• On-site repairs: $125/hour + cost of materials **Price subject to change.
