Missed Class and Cancellation Policies

Basic Stained Glass and Fusing Class

Missed Classes

We understand that conflicts can arise. If you need to miss a class, we can assist you in scheduling a single make-up session, provided you give at least 24 hours’ notice.

This make-up class must be taken before the next scheduled class in your series. If you miss the final class, the make-up session must be completed within one week of the end of the series.

Please note: If you no-show for the first class or fail to schedule and attend a make-up class before the next class in the series, you will forfeit the remainder of your classes.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your spot, you can receive a credit toward a future class if you provide at least seven days’ notice before the series begins. We are unable to offer refunds or credits for cancellations made less than seven days before the start date.

Experience Classes

Missed Classes and Rescheduling

We understand that conflicts can arise. If you need to reschedule a class, we can assist you in finding another date one time, provided you give at least seven days’ notice.

Please note: If you no-show for the class or fail to request and attend a rescheduled class you will forfeit your payment.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your experience entirely, you can receive a credit toward a future class if you provide at least two weeks’ notice before the scheduled experience. We are unable to offer credits for cancellations made less than two weeks before the scheduled session date.

Inclement Weather Policy

1. Studio Closure & Event Cancellation

Safety First: Fiscus Glassworks reserves the right to cancel or postpone events (https://fiscusglassworks.com/classes-and-events/) when hazardous conditions (e.g., snow, ice, or extreme temperatures) pose a risk to participants or staff.

Notification: In the event of a closure, participants in group events (e.g., classes, workshops) will be contacted with a new date for the event through the email provided at registration at least two hours before the scheduled start time. Updates may also be posted to official social media channels.

2. Rescheduling & Makeup Sessions

Automatic Rescheduling: If an entire event is cancelled by the studio, Fiscus Glassworks will propose a new date for the group.

Independent Makeup Scheduling: If you cannot attend the rescheduled group date, or if a single session is cancelled, it is the customer’s responsibility to initiate a makeup session.

90-Day Window: All makeup sessions must be independently scheduled within 90 days of the original event date.

3. Store Credit & Refunds

Store Credit: For cancellations made due to weather concerns where a makeup cannot be immediately attended, the studio will issue store credit valid for future classes only.

No Refunds for No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled event without prior communication, even during inclement weather, results in a forfeiture of the registration fee.
